Gerard Deulofeu

It most certainly isn't, stealing a living for years, terrible footballer who cost us the FA Cup and is only a one club man because nobody else is crazy enough to buy him. The fact that you had to resort to a mother joke shows how little defence you can muster for a turd of a player.

It wasn't just him who cost us the cup mate (2009 yeah?).

I don't mind Hibbert really. Pretty bad player these days but if you think he's not offering something behind the scenes then that's a little silly.

If he's giving advice on how to defend then that explains last season. 100% disagree with you.

Back to Geri though.

Premier League stalwart giving advice to youngsters. Somebody call the police.

But yeah. Just realised what thread we are in. Be bummed if Deulofeu is injured. He has been a bit quiet on the social medias. Usually a right little whore on there.

Always find it funny when someone who never made it, rips in to a Professional and makes out he "stole a living". It's an interesting observation. So you actually believe Hibbert is that bad, that he played well over 10 years for an established Premier League club after progressing through the Youth System for all those years too?

So the scouts, academy coaches, Smith, Moyes and Martinez all got it wrong, and you know more than all of them?

Hibbert bashing seems to be a popular internet craze. A bizzare one.

And I always find it funny when a nerd on the internet calls out another poster with the old "he's better than you" argument.

Of course he is, that doesn't make him a good footballer though. Karl Henry is better than me ffs.

Next.

He do your mum too?

@EFC78, from https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/...st-season-out-of-10.76363/page-4#post-3600820 :

Surely pot meets kettle, you've just called a number of these players average.

Not really. I criticised players for not performing up to standards last season which they didn't?

I just don't understand this need for some Evertonians to slate a local lad who has given his all for the club since he was a youngster. He's not the most talented player we've had in recent times, but he's been a solid pro who has had a good career, and has tried his best. Give me someone like Hibbert over a Rooney any day. Might get slated for that due to the difference in talent of the two players but having only seen us win one trophy in my lifetime, i'd rather players who care about the club than ones that don't.

The good news is that we've moved on from Hibbert now. We have Coleman who is far better and the team is now a lot better than when Hibbert was a regular (barring last season).
