I think it's almost certain we'll get Dann and he will cost more than 5m. Probably 8m the reported fee. For 8.5m we could go for Bartra who Liverpool and Spurs are going after.

Hopefully we will get Deulofeu and he could even use his influence. Dann is a good buy though.

All depends on who the playmaker is he's after imo if it's someone costing £10 mil+ I can't see us having the luxury of spending £8 mil+ on most likely a 3rd choice CB. Us spending that sort of money would either mean we are signing an unknown/unproven playmaker on the cheap or the board are giving Martinez the bulk of TV cash to spend (which I can't see tbh)

We just don't know. We're so close to a really good team. It would be a shame to miss out on something this season when the money was technically there.

When we sell Stones for 30 million we will have 21.5 million left to spend on playmaker and keeper
