In all seriousness, why has this created such a buzz? I seem to remember that he caused me more fume than anything when he was here.

I haven't watched him in Spain, has he become less greedy, learned to cross the ball earlier and gained some composure in front of goal?

No, the Sevilla manager actually slated him publicly quite a few times last season for being to greedy and making poor decisions. I'm happy we're getting him back but anyone thinking that we're signing a player who's already great and going to make a world of difference for us next season is going over the top. He's a young player with a lot of raw talent, we need to patient and think about the long-term.

Balague the Spanish football expert has said on sky sports its happening £2.2 million a bargain, like a 2 year loan isn't it. Will be heartbreaking after his terrorised the prem
To loan him for two years we'd have to pay more than 2.2m you would presume for the fees. If they do get him back it means we've had to have got some amazing football out of him and we're going to make a very handy profit from him.

I've stated I really don't want a buy back fee too but it is much better than a loan, it's allowing us to sign him dirt cheap and the clause only lasts two seasons it's reported, going up for the second year too.

I asked on here the other day, are people getting all misty eyed over Del Boy ?

he's got a lot of potential no doubt about it and he's similar to barkley, bags of it but a confidence player, just hope people don't get on his back if he has a couple of bag games as i'm sure people will. the crowd destroyed barkley this year, hoping the same doesn't happen with deulofeu

His performances last season in Spain earned him a place in the La Liga's worst eleven, as voted by leading Spanish paper Marca.
