Might help his chances of staying if he falls behind in the depth chart and has to be worked back into the rotation again...but I still think he'll be recalled for the short preseason with Barcelona to see where he might fit in...Of course, that's a long ways off for now, a lot could happen between now & then that would change the dynamic

No kidding he's what 17-18 tipped to have potential to be like one of the best players in the world on a boss wage living the dream and is probably out there trying to impregnate half of town and then after the seasons over he returns to one of the best teams in the world. I'd be bloody happy all the time too.

Could be out for up to 5 weeks according to Martinez this morning. If that's the case he will be out likely until the Derby on January 28th, missing 7 games. Not ideal but at least it should be one of our easier runs for the rest of the season.

Considering Martinez sounded like he was going to be out longer than that, that's not too bad. Hamstring injuries aren't to be taken lightly, especially with him being so young. Get him properly recovered and then bossing teams for the last 12-14 games.
