Wasn't sure where to put this, but that empty headed moron Joe Rogan was falsely (as proven by the FBI) reporting that 'leftists' were deliberately setting forrest fires in Portland as a form of protest. When is this idiot going to wake up to concept that he has a responsibility to his dim viewership beyond lining his own pockets, the very epitome of a dangerous idiot.
This is far more acknowledgement and contrition than you will ever see from any mainstream newspaper or television network, which are wrong far more often about far more serious issues than this:
For better or worse, Joe Rogan is as good an example of the middle-aged, mostly apolitical, non-fancy-degree-holding American everyman as anyone is ever going to find.
He represents that vanishing American specimen - the voter whose identity is not permanently partisan and tribal, and whose allegiance remains open to persuasion.
When the Democrat partisan, prompted by corporate media and corporate donor darlings like Buttigieg or Biden, pictures the swing voter as a suburbanite worried about corporate taxes and the deficit, it is the Joe Rogan listener they should be thinking of instead.
The Roganard can be won over, as some primary candidates demonstrated, with the right policies and the right tone - though in Rogan's case, for the Democrats, it is probably already too late.
It is a... curious strategy to court the swing voter by reminding him every chance we get that we find him so primitive and repugnant that we can't even bear being in the same room with him, and find it moral to exclude him from the conversation altogether.
It will be much, much more difficult for the Democrats to win by alienating rather than persuading people like Joe Rogan - and they probably won't deserve to, either.
