Sadly not but years of peaceful protest weren't moving the needle either as proved by how damn frequent it has been.
Also seems like some of the destruction is from those who don't live in the actual communities themselves - easily to destroy something you/your own family doesn't regularly shop at.

Those taking it as an opportunity to loot, vandalise aren't there because of support for change in relation to the killing of George Floyd.
There's plenty of those I see protesting who have a strong message which is getting sidelined by those germs and leeches ruining the community. Many of which seem to have travelled in to cause such damage and destruction.
Powerful image I saw earlier with a group of black men forming a line to protect a police officer who had become seperated from his colleagues. That in itself will do more for relations between the two then any amount of looting etc would ever do.
