Now imagine these things happening to you in your own country and your taxes paying for it.
I pay taxes in Asian countries. Ive been in Asia for 20 years...i see myself as being here for a long time.
If someone in UK complains about something for example then why not move overseas (as ive done) and make a better life?
Home is where you make it. Unless youre tied down in your home country then why not?
Im also not saying protesting is bad...im saying violent protests + spreading COVID is bad.
Can you sum up in one sentence what point you are trying to make there?
Because (if I allow for the fact that all your statements are accurate, even though given some of your recent sources, that could certainly be called into question) it sounds a lot like you're saying "racism is fine because it happens everywhere"
Racism happens literally everywhere.
In US the black people went up against the Koreans due to ONE korean shooting ONE black girl....ALL koreans were punished.
Im sure theres been opposite situations as well.
But racism wont be changed by a group of people protesting, rioting and looting during a pandemic.
The only ones who will benefit from this are the middle class and higher who are liquid and will profit from an economic recession.
Real estate in those black communities will see a drop in value allowing wealthy people or companies to come in and buy them at knockdown prices.
The poor communities will be driven out.
Look at London, some of the gentrified places used to be ghettos...the difference in the US will be that the rich will buy them up and kick out the locals.
