More backhander shenanigans. The DNC buying up 100,000 of these soon in pre-orders as they did with Obama's book. On the discount shelf a week after official release.

If you thought Andrew Tate becoming PM was unlikely even more shocking is that the California Governorship, after this week, is in play for Republicans. Dems are still odds on to win but a GOP Governor is far more of a possibility than it was only one day ago. Strange times.

Prescient? California has averaged more than 8,000 wildfires a year since 2000. Total loss averages just under 1 million acres. They’ve had deadly wildfires on the news every year for as long as I can remember. I don’t think I’d call this prescience.
This is not more of the same. The lacklustre response by authorities(and infrastructure issues)is the main political story here. That's why this is the end for a generation of very progressive Dem leaders in the state. The next Cal Governor is almost certainly going to be a DINO(Democrat in name only) or just maybe even a Republican.

LOL, no

Texas is red and froze up its stupid power grid and gave no power to half the state for up to a week and hundreds died
Florida is red and can't protect its citizens from terrible hurricanes

This is not a political issue, and the good people of GOT are not stupid, so don't play us like that

It is irrelevant what has happened in Florida or Texas. Californian's will be blaming those in charge of California. They will not be having some policy debate about the pros & cons of policies enacted in other parts of the US. Then again most posters on here couldn't spot an 'angry electorate' if that electorate turned up en masse to their homes with pitchforks in hand.
