It's a very boring piece of legislation that tells federal agencies to use the definition Trump already instructed the Department of Education to use by way of executive order. Now, it's a terrible definition.

What's weird is seeing AOC, Cori Bush and Omar voting the same way as Boebert, Gosar, Gaetz and MTG. In past Congresses I would have said this has to be some sort of foreign relations bill, right?

Fairly big fish as the House goes. Twenty year member, ranking member on an Appropriations subcommittee. This will play uncomfortably into Republicans' narrative that Biden and Democrats generally are corrupt.

If the Democrats have any sense whatsoever they should point to the Biden DoJ doing something to clean up their own (and by extension the country's) house, irrespective of who it is. They might even boast of "draining the swamp".
