Normally don't come into this thread because I'm not really into politics and especially of somewhere i dont live. But I heard something the other day about 1 of the Kennedy's running for election. I've read the last 3 pages and I only thought the uk was bad. What a sorry state of affairs.

I really wish the left would take a leaf out of the right's book and start controlling the language used in society (as they did when they managed to convince people to use "climate change" instead of "global heating") - the people who have criminalized abortion are pro-birth, not pro-life.
If you ban abortion whilst think its fine for birth and postnatal (and paediatric) care to be horrendously expensive, think its wrong that the state should support the poor when they have children (with quality affordable and stable housing, decent conditions and working rights / salary), refuse to do anything about school shootings and other violence, refuse to have kids educated properly and basically encourage the ruining of the planet before they inherit it from you then you are pretty obviously not pro-life.
At best, all you are doing is preserving the fetus. More likely you are just facilitating and funding some absolute scumbag who wants to make it the law that your daughter might have to report her menstrual habits.
