She was during her House days, without a doubt. She's second-tier these days, with many of the ones that rode Trump's coattails far more vile. It's not that she got better. It's that the standard managed to sink even further into the gutter.

Makes me wonder if he's planning to turn coat. This seems like it leaves him in a really bad spot. No sense contributing to prop up an unreliable vote, so money will be hard to come by, yet I don't see him winning a Republican primary either.
Of course, he could also be planning to hang it up in three years, and therefore no longer cares what anyone thinks.
