And as for your assertion that she is acting like she is the President, well, she is certainly acting far more Presidential than Trump ever has, but she has responsibilities to the constitution that she was elected to uphold. Despite Trump taking an oath to uphold the constitution, he has attempted to destroy it at pretty much every opportunity.

Also, you do realize, that as speaker of the house, she is next in line to be President after the Vice-President.

If the senate find him guilty, the Dems can ensure trump is unable to run again in 2024 with a simple majority.

Impeachment exists to impeach presidents who commit impeachable offences. Otherwise what's the point?

I would have thought the benefits of impeaching a president who has openly formented an attack on the Capitol building and stamped their constitution and electoral processes into the mud would be clear. They want to deter anyone else who might think of doing the same. Otherwise, every election potentially becomes a free for all where you can just reject a legitimate result, rile up your supporters and get them to invade places with guns and kill police officers. And then just go home at the end.

Can you not see the logic of that Pete? Or is this still all Nancy Pelosi's fault somehow?

Just seen that the average net worth of a 30 year old in USA is one thousand dollars. Birthrate is also extremely low.

The USA is on its way to becoming a country with extreme poverty and an older population. The pandemic is getting rid of all small businesses and is passing wealth to big tech which is making the problem even worse.

This year is the game changer mate. Unfortunately a 'service economy' has been found out during the pandemic. The people who manufacture and produce have the power.

UK and USA can only print money for so long. Its all going to come crashing down.

Many do. I think she has some great qualities, but I also think she’s idealistic and doesn’t think through or or at least present a plan of how to do something that might sound great in theory. She also seems to think money is infinite and not something to consider when throwing out ideas that do sound great. That’s beside some of her policies which I’m actually just fundamentally opposed to like forgiving all student debt.

This is the criticism I dont get of her. If you listen to her and look at the amount of money spent in America, she 100% is correct. Same as this country.

They can always find infinite amounts of money for wars, weapons, billionaire tax cuts that never trickle down, mass corruption etc but when it comes to people there is always a budget.

Look at the money found here for Track and trace, brexit etc. Nobody screams about a defecit and budget then but when it comes to a few million for hungry kids all of a sudden there is no magic money tree - its an absolute disgrace.

I actually tended to believe that China was a global powerhouse 10 years ago (not 10 years in the future). While the US was needlessly preoccupied with a country they didn't need to invade and then a country they also didn't need to occupy, China was busy setting up shop in Africa, Brazil, Madagascar, islands around India, building the new silk road, buying up our debt, sealing a deal with Russia that had geopolitical and military technology, etc.

It seems the money could be better spent on making sure more people who couldn't go to college even a technical school have the opportunity to do so. A lot of debt is among those with advanced degrees, so the forgiveness is favoring the privileged; and there is no incentive for people to seek out other financial means if they know their loan will be forgiven. Maybe just make the cost of higher education at public universities/colleges realistic and affordable--oh wait, if the government did that, that would be socialism. Nevermind, let's just keep the cost of an English degree from University of Virginia at 136,000.

That doesn't matter though does it, end of the day Trump, especially for a person in his position of power, MUST be held accountable for his inflammatory words and actions during his Presidency, again especially during the last few months of pure lies.
