Now I'm no Pelosi fan Pete, but I need to just to get this straight.

You see the house speaker Nancy Pelosi as more divisive than the guy who incited a seditious coup on the capitol building which was breached for the first time in 200 hundred years by a rampaging mob

You see Nancy Pelosi as more divisive then the guy who has completely smashed all political norms by refusing to accept the result of a legitimate election, citing baseless online conspiracy theories and working his cultists up into a frenzy, and doing untold damage to the perception of the American electoral system domestically.

You see Nancy Pelosi as more divisive than the guy who has prostrated himself in front of every dictator in the world while teargassing his own citizens and making a complete joke of America around the world.

I'm beginning to see why you love Boris so much and why you probably believe your Finance Director friend is a real person.

No, I said as divisive not more divisive, there’s a big difference. Look at it this way. Biden needs the country behind him and quite frankly that is going to take a big effort. Many of the Trump supporters, gun carrying types, are not happy and will take some calming down. Trump is going anyway and it really doesn’t need Pelosi poking him in the eye on the way out, it will just wind people up......

He committed a serious serious federal crime Pete. And has probably committed many others. He has pushed the American democratic system to its absolute limits, to the point where its not even certain it will endure. And he literally harnessed the ultimate power of divisiveness to do it. Its like your neighbour breaking into your house, murdering some of your kids and not pressing charges because it might upset some of his friends in the village.

If a UK politician inspired an attack on parliament where multiple people died I would very much hope that you wouldn’t be “oh, lets quickly move on from that without any consequences“, let alone to say the opposition leader was equally divisive.

He should go to prison and you’ll get no arguments from me. As I said, he’s gone, my concern is with what happens next, and I believe the USA is in trouble if this witch hangs around.......

The US could well be in trouble but Pelosi is pretty far down the list of causes if it is.

Serious question here because I keep seeing people saying "he needs to get the Trump people behind him" or along those lines:

What do you propose they do to get any of the Trump supporters to not believe everything is a conspiracy and Biden stole the election?
