They vote in the Presidential election. DC has the same number of electoral college votes as the state with the smallest population.Ok so DC isnt a state. The people who live in DC dont get to vote?
This is true, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t feel like we are. They manage to hold up so much meaningful progress with their regressive bull****. I mean, thanks to them, it’s 2020 and there is still substantive debate taking place as to whether women and LGBT are deserving of equal rights. And of course, by substantive debate, I mean cases about to be ruled on by a Supreme Court who almost certainly thinks they aren’t.Many in the US have forgotten or never known that we are not a Christian nation.
This would be a Dem pick up

In Congress (I think) DC has a single delegate who doesn't get to vote on motions on the floor of the House.
They have no representation in the Senate.
It's a historic thing. I'm sure others can clarify this, but I think DC was initially intended to be solely the seat of the federal government, and not to necessarily evolve into the pretty big city with a population that exceeds several states...Why on earth has that been allowed to happen?

No idea. Smoking whatever Trump is?What’s the reason for such optimism? Looks like 60% counted and almost 30% spread. That’s a pretty darn big ask.
I hope if he loses by 30 points he also claims fraud...but in an ironic wayNo idea. Smoking whatever Trump is?
Its not trump, smile
