Would there be any tangible difference if it had been Sanders or just anyone who didn't immediately inject apathy into the Democrat bid?
Probably not. The GOP has won the votes of the majority of white men (and especially rural white men) for years.Would there be any tangible difference if it had been Sanders or just anyone who didn't immediately inject apathy into the Democrat bid?
You'd have to think they're not gonna be swayed by a Jewish socialist.Probably not. The GOP has won the votes of the majority of white men (and especially rural white men) for years.
There is certainly a very distinct demographic of people at these 'protests'Probably not. The GOP has won the votes of the majority of white men (and especially rural white men) for years.
It's hard to credit the topical sincerity of shutdown protesters when they all show up tricked out in Trump merch, particularly in Michigan, where the big Lansing protest was organized and underwritten by a group run by Betsy DeVos, Trump's Michigan-born billionaire god-botherer AmWay heiress Sec'y of Education. There is certainly a very distinct demographic of people at these 'protests'
Agree Hogan seems to be doing a good jobMaryland has something similar going on and also has a GOP governor. However he has never been in line with Trump (he couldn't be governor here if he was) and has even gone on TV saying it's not true that they have the testing to reopen a majority of the state. I actually feel pretty decent about Hogan handling this, and if it came down to it I could handle having someone of his ilk running the country despite not agreeing policy wise, but it's pretty clear that section of the Republican party is gone now.
