I think it was in the guardian there was an article about a couple who’d donated thousands to these guys on the promise that they will reap the rewards in other ways. ‘Planting seeds’ I think it was called. It wasn’t until they were staying at a hotel they saw the John Oliver piece on these guys by chance that they realised they’d been duped. They didn’t even know who John Oliver was up until that point.
And that’s the problem. You get all these programmes detailing these problems yet you’re preaching to the converted.

These guys remind me of the greedy swine in Indiana Jones and the last crusade. He picks up the golden chalice thinking it was the cup of Christmas.
