Everton truly grateful for Kenwright's support
CEO says club continue to “benefit” from Bill Kenwright continuing as chairman.
“We are truly grateful for your support”.

Nothing like a bit of arsekissing the World's Greatest Evertonian
If you constantly promote from within, this is the danger: patronage and cronyism.

Elstone never really left.

Am I the only one not really bothered about this kind of thing?

I care about the football, not the behind the scenes stuff (I do get that they are both linked).

When is Brands getting his Martinez style mural ffs?

It is very important that the role has been clearly defined though.

Denise is now discussing the decision to introduce a Director of Football in 2016. "Since then, we have conducted a full review of this model, learning lessons from the last two seasons and identifying a structure that will ensure stability and success. Our approach now is to have a Director of Football with a broader remit, responsible for the whole footballing strategy at the Club, rather than just player recruitment."

As he is responsible for the whole footballing strategy it means when Marco starts underperforming (as he is currently) then ultimately it'll be Brands to give him the boot.

Have some of that @davek
