Quite ironic as Barkley hated him after he'd been here a year, but I have no doubt's Koeman was appointed because Moshiri and Bill wanted him, at the time he was regarded as the best manager not to be at a top 4 club, and it was a coup for us to get him.

All looks so positive financially, just need to produce better on the pitch.

If LCC were just handing over the £300m for a football stadium, I doubt he'd be claiming it was a good deal for LCC either. I imagine clarification will be given from the club/Anderson later, or tomorrow, as it seems to have confused SOME people. The more worrying aspect for me would be EFC finding the extra finance on top of what we get from this SPV deal, and how quickly we can get that in place. I imagine that is what is slowing things down, but these are only my assumptions.

He didn’t want to be sold for a high fee , he wanted to run his contract down , go for peanuts and get a massive signing on fee.
You can only sell a player if he agrees to go
