He said we over achieved last year. 7th is not over achievement. It's barely an achievement.

Of course he's here for a short term fix role but I hate his negativity. Stop moaning and find ways to improve players and win games. He spends most of his day thinking up excuses he can use to try make his failures sound impressive.

Considering Moshiri wants atleast 6th he wont last past his 18 months thankfully.

I liked most of what I've read and heard tonight. Apart from the embarassing and frantic attempts from BFS to lower expectations. But I'm fairly certain from what Mosh said that he will be replaced in the summer, and that's a relief.

Also Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku you are right tossers
Expand please?

Why is everyone so annoyed, as in what’s the actual reason?

Can’t see anything in what I read that’s dissapointing.

Are people just venting?
Two things, one of substance, one of presentation:

Substance - there is a need for clarity on funding vis-a-vis LCC...and the chuckle heads in charge tonight failed to provide it.

Presentation - our club's owner has dragged the name of the club into the gutter because he couldn't hold his ale/tongue *delete as appropriate*.

How are we paying for that stadium?

Well 2/3 the council and the rest who knows TV money + Chinese Overdraft + naming rights deal?

Effing sick of the negativity of our fans lately nothing's ever good enough.

Only disappointment should be how Walsh still has a job after the summer debacle.

He didn't. He said we've tended to overachieve in the past and that we were victims of our own success last season.

Depends how you see it.

Success is relative, clearly. But that was in response to something about Koeman getting sacked. And Koeman got sacked because the start of this season was nowhere close to the general play of last season once it clicked. I don't think any of us saw last season as a 'success' really, but more of a step back to where we should be.

And tell me what he's actually moaned about since he got here? Apart from stating we've had a few injuries and he's looking forward to getting those players back and then making sure we don't get those injuries again?? He hasn't moaned about the fixtures like every top six manager, or complained about crap reffing.

I'm not his biggest fan, but you're picking faults that aren't there. The guy has been here 6 weeks. He started with a 7-game unbeaten run and yes, that's gone off the boil in recent weeks when we've had to rotate the squad, which has been proven not to be good enough.

The fault with Sam is that he falls into his old trap. But this squad currently needs to be built back up in terms of quality and morale. That's a fact, mate.

Give the guy a window at least and down to one game per-week - so more time on the training ground - to see what he can do. It's really pie-in the sky to expect him to be off in the summer, because you'll just be whinging then if it doesn't come to fruition.

He's on an 18-month deal and for the time being we just have to assume he's here for that amount of time.

Because Evertonians are really, really weird, Neiler.

Ironically, the few things that seem worth getting annoyed about, people have ignored.

You're not disappointed that we have wasted a year on the stadium project with little to show for it besides a vastly increased expected debt load to pay for it?

I've stated my opposition to Sam on numerous occasions. He is negative both tactically and in outlook. He always blames others. He blamed the players for not being good offensively on Boxing day despite playing the most negative side he could possibly find for example.

Just get us 20 more points and go please large Samuel.
