I completely agree with that, and like ive said, i have no problem with anyone and how they live their lives. I know plenty of gay people, friends and family, and have met and known Trans people, friends of friends, and i wish no ill on anyone.@Kever10 as I said to Bishop TT. I don't agree with your views. All I would say is spending time with the trans people I know and have spent time with. Makes you understand the hardship they face on a daily basis.
Being gay is easy these days. But being Trans is it a huge mental battle. And I applaud every Trans person out there.
Of course there may one or two bad eggs. But that's the same whether you are male or female. Gay or straight. Unfortunately there will always be stories that will test you and make your blood boil. But remember it is only a fraction of all the good Trans people out there.
My point was very specific, and probably boils down to what are a few extreme examples, whereby there are, unfortunately, people out there who take liberties with other peoples general kindness and use it to their advantage. People who will take something and abuse it to benefit themselves. It happens all the time, in all walks of life, from thieves, con artists, criminals, even every day people who, to use the old term, give them an inch and they will take a mile.
I was talking to someone recently who openly said they lied on their job application form, saying they were bisexual to ensure getting an interview. And thats the problem. The system is created on the basis that people are all honourable and honest, but many people, even some people you would otherwise think of as being good, will lie, cheat and steal for their own benefit.
I am very cynical by nature, so the idea of giving everybody the benefit of the doubt doesnt always sit easily with me, even though i wish i could. The idea that hard and fast rules can be applied fairly across the board doesnt sit well with me either when there is a chance of someone unscrupulous benefitting unfairly, and especially when that also results in someone potentially being hurt badly.
Ive been unfairly labelled as a troll simply for not being democrat leaning in my opinions on Trump (even though im from the UK and dont even vote) and for being cynical of that narrative, and for having the temerity for arguing my point against the pack.
But i can assure you, i dont have any ill will towards anyone (except maybe kopites).
The struggles that Trans people in general face are undoubtedly numerous, and as someone who has experienced bullying throughout school, i can't even begin to understand what it must be like.
But i also thing there needs to be some nuance applied to situations like the main 1 i have been arguing against, which is almost exclusively related to sports and the general physicality of certain sports (not all). There was also another point raised about violent prisoners being moved, and the general points about people changing gender without transitioning and still insisting on aquiring those rights, but that goes a lot deeper.
I did also argue on the side of how i was against the trans ideology being forced on kids, but that to me is simply a matter of i dont believe kids of a certain age should be learning anything about sexuality. Its unnecessary.
So for the record, i am not anti Trans or Transphobic, and i am definitely not homophobic in any way. I just have my concerns about certain aspects that i believe should be led by common sense, and not emotion.
And finally, i hope in haven't offended you in any of my posts. That was never my intention.
