Compare to the Tories, who have people like Desmond Swayne denying votes in parliament on very obviously good issues 'just because' and it doesn't make a dent, because the Tories disown them and keep the narrative clear. It's not about false equivalence, it's saying what "plays" with the larger public. Labour/the left can't compete until they realise that they can't keep alienating large chunks of the public in the name of ideological purity. If something doesn't work, don't keep doing it, as there has to be a bigger picture in play.

I don't believe you because all the polling evidence suggests it wasn't true. You haven't shown any evidence you have just said 'it IS true' despite being shown polling numbers that don't back that up. And you call them 'unforced errors' or whatever. They aren't. If the right wing media choose to portray someone or something in a particular light, they will do this. The answer to this, despite your repeated claims, isn't to do nothing or to water down any attempt to change society.

That Google 'evidence' is nonsense. You do the same for Labour and you get Diane Abbott. Are you saying that Labour have disowned her? And LOL at the idea the Tories disowned Swayne when he is literally a Tory MP who stood in 2019.

And you have a Labour Party where the leader has supported the police, been against damage on protests, is very much not 'ideologically pure' but apparently this still isn't enough for you because he took a knee? I just don't actually get what you're asking them to do.

Absolutely nobody likes these knobheads Tubey, but they have been around forever and went digital at the same time as the rest of modern society. What exactly is it you want to do?

Lets sort this. Give us names, who are these leftist cancel culture woke warriors we need to condemn? Send an Excel Spreadsheet of the wokists to me and Deadsoft and we will chair a bi monthly meeting with the rest of The Left and forward on our condemnations to the President of The Right so that they know that we don't approve. Hopefully this results in less slam dunks for The Right and us PLAYING RIGHT INTO THEIR HANDS

Just don't support it. If something is patently stupid, call it out as such instead of supporting it just because they share the same enemy.

It's not a hard concept. There's nothing you can "do" to turn the tide overnight.

Have you seen anyone in actual real life support this stuff?

Im a silly, little liberal lefty myself, so are a lot of my friends and we roll our eyes at a lot of the stuff the so called ‘left’ rally against. Then again, quite a lot of the time you only have to do the smallest bit of research to see even on social media most people aren’t bothered.

Are you not just taking the worst examples of things and exaggerating them?

I can't argue against 'it doesn't exist'.

But let's say your assertion is true, and this is just the minority and the effect is exaggerated - OK fine, but the onus is then on the majority to disown that minority, because the effect is effectively exaggerated and therefore harmful.

The above are doing their usual - trying to make out like I'm saying the 'left' are all to a man and woman on a crusade to do stupid stuff, but I'm obviously not saying that. I'm saying they shouldn't support it because, even if they do think it's stupid, at least they share a common enemy, so it's all good.

You say you and your friends roll your eyes at it; that's all I'm doing, but pointing out the obvious - and that is if you are left wing and you are rolling your eyes at it, what do you think the reaction is from everyone else?
