average player, he's smart enough to know his limits, and they are plenty, so he's capable of doing a job, but we've for the large part being a rudderless goal conceding catastrophe in his time here, supposedly he's this leader who protects the defense, begs the question is he that good?
Looks good in our average team against other averages teams and saves his better performances at home. Can't say I can recall any game he has influenced away from home or against a top side.

And nor should you expect him to at his age, very few players can. Everton's problem is that we never seem ever to let go at a reasonable time. He and jags are cooked, time to go in my opinion and get a bit of young life into the first team. No doubt there will be hiccups but you cannot maintain the status quo

I'd like to start phasing him out and getting rid of this terrible formation we play to accommodate him. Love GB but time to move forward.

Making mistakes that lead to goal or chances more often. People say we are crap without him, it could be because of using the same formation that hasn't worked for 3 seasons.

Time for him to move on now or take his place on the bench, for this team to move forward he should not be part of it.
Great consistent performer by the way but just feel time has caught up with him..

That's the crux of it, we are too slow and I believe the formation doesn't help. If he was Pirlo it wouldn't matter but he's not and Gana can do perfectly well in a 1 DM formation.

I could be way way off the mark(just trying to think of solutions) but this formation is terrible and something has to give, for me it's Gaz Baz time to be a bit part performer or someone to come on and help close a game out.

He's an experienced, canny player. He does a lot of unheralded but necessary work. And he's about the only one of this lot who can be called on to put a foot in when required...in and of itself worth a starting place.

Youve had a shocker here Dave.

I noticed in another thread when you were jousting with @MoutsGoat that you rated this crab at £3mil.

Thats up there with the Sammy Lee shouts mate.
