Barry's been a great signing. Possibly the best value signing since Nigel Martyn.
I also note there in interview Koeman praises both Barry and Gueye as a 'good tandem' but that we have other midfield players that occupy those two positions.
Good shout that
Martyn and Barry had both been replaced by younger (and possibly inferior) players at their previous clubs. Both given us great service at the end of their careers.
Never imagined we'd get 4 good seasons out of Barry when we signed him. Looks like we may well do (alright, there was one of those seasons where he wasn't great TBF).
I can't believe at his age he's still so important for a team in the Premier League and in one that will
Hopefully operate at the right end this season.
Reckon replacing him would cost £30 Million, something we will probably have to do after this season

Incredibly fit for his age to be still playing at this level. Do not think he was fully appreciated at his other clubs unlike here at GP.
Always been a top pro, hence why he's still first choice.
Yep..I remember thinking 'why do they want him?' how wrong I was...Benitez was desperate to get him to Liverpool, IIRC. Thank God he didn't. He could have still been there when Brodgers had them within touching distance of the title.
