I'm still absolutely gutted we let Gaz Baz leave on Loan. Everything i have seen of Fernandinho says as quality as he is on the ball, he's no great improvement on Barry (not yet at least, still settling in i guess?). Barry gives every club he has every played for an assured composure that goes so unnoticed and unappreciated by rival fans. Gaz Baz on a free (which is what it is with him out of contract next summer)... Absolute madness

Gareth Barry will be 33 in February. We may be able to sign him at the end of the season for free, but how long a contract would he want, 2 years perhaps taking him to 35.
If we did sign him we would need to have a young kid as his replacement in reserve as well....
