Same here. I don't see why we'd need McCarthy if we had Gibson, Barry and Osman capable of playing behind Barkley. Hopefully Barry is better than I think he is too.

Osman is awful and always has been IMO and many others agree. If Barry came in perhaps Osman would be relegated to the reserves never mind the bench.

its a body to stick on the bench and add to the depth a little .but its hardly a move which screams ambition or shows we are building for the future.
