I posted 6 months ago that Bale is the greatest footballer to come out of the UK of all time, I mentioned Gazza, Rooney, Charlton,Best
& Hoddle, obviously I can't talk about Dixie, Lawton, Gallagher & James. Bale got Wales to a major Semi-final 2 years ago and did it
single-handedly, even George Best couldn't do that. It was fitting that the goal he scored was possibly the greatest ever. To be
honest I'd have settled for a disputed own goal in the last minute and enjoyed it even more. I am ashamed to say this, but I am
honest.... I hate Liverpool more than I love Everton.

It should also be said that Bale gives everything for Wales when he plays for them. Too often we see top players from weaker footballing nations not be as committed as they could be. The current Welsh manager could take note from what I remember.

Living in Ireland the Liverpool supporters somehow seem even more like zealots and can be hard to listen to. This weekend and today has been very pleasant... and that isn't just the weather.
Bale, Sergio Ramos and Real in general have risen considerably in my favourite other team status.

It makes me think what it would have been like if they won.
