Very sad end to that episode.
So is this where Benjen makes a miraculous return and rescues his nephew? Considering all we know is he went missing when ranging north of the wall.
It's got a 9.8 on IMDb. Not sure how.
Have you watched it? They could have cut the whole rest of the episode, and so long as 'Hold the door' was there..........
Well that was a great episode.
To have something seem so insignificant for 6 seasons (not to mention throughout all the books) only to full reveal its true nature in such a poignant and meaningful way is just outstanding.
Not only does it explain the past, it opens so many doors for certain characters (Bran) and how their stories can develop.
Agree Float. I've read all the books so this is the first episode that has really hit an emotional nerve. If Bran's story line is at the center of everything then George Martin is one hell of a poker player.
Hodor
I can't work out if it is daft or not for Sansa to refuse the Vale army and a guaranteed win, considering Littlefinger would then be the power broker.
Yeah just now, thought Dany appearing again was pointless, I enjoyed the Castle Black and Bran/Hodor bits, would have given it a high 8 like, it's too close to a perfect score for me though.
