Is this the same place where Beans daughter has been training with the assassins?

Perhaps some way to bring them back to life...
Its just a clever promo mate unless they are killing off the others shown on the trailer.

Ned stark is dead bar flashbacks which I think they have a young actor doing them. Hopefully to introduce the john targarian plotline hinted in the books /online boards

@Ashtonian i just know the tv series only.

This seems to be a critical season with so many good storylines and actors killed off now just as they seemed to be getting somewhere...

its like they develop a character and just as you expect a pay off for time invested in the storyline they kill them off.

Alot of the storylines have become a bit boring now....need some kind of spark really.

Whens it launching?

April mate.

The series has a independance now apart from the Iron islands storyline which is still from the books. So what happens to the characters now is essentially down to the shows creators rather than the author which is a good thing to a certain extent because nothing can be predictable. It probably means actors who are good, like peter dinkelege are more likeley to be kept in the show for the whole run as they are essentially the 'stars' of the show now, whereas they had little choice when it came to ned and rob for example.

This is what i meant about the john targarian storyline, that johns real parentage makes him Danaerys's half brother, not a stark. In the books it is never said, but avid readers pull the odd thing from here and there to make that theory, the shows creators can run with things like that now knowing that if the book doesn't follow that avenue it won't matter.

My only concern is that having 5 seasons which are largely true to the books, having a show and book that could vary wildly is going to break the connection somewhat which will remove the possible enjoyment for the book reader. Especially if it is dramatised for tv, and kept true in the book.

But i'm just rambling now lol

Whose john targarian?

Whose john targarian?
Basically there is a theory from fans (not actually substansiated in the books so not a spoiler).

That john snow is not ned stark's son, but it is his sisters son, and the father was the mad king, who was a targarian, making him a targarian also.

As i mentioned this isnt actually said in the books, theorists have pulled the odd line from one book and a line from another type of thing to make this idea come to life, but if it doesn't happen in either tv or books then it is simply that, just a fan theory.
