Just curious as to the interaction between the watch and snow now, he can't exactly come back to lead them, nor can he serve under someone else! If anything he would want revenge on the crows, so perhaps leader of the free folk? Keeps the amazing fella with the beard as a relevant character.

I think that is more a book than a show direction mate. I'm sure there is something in it, and to be honest would make a good storyline as well. the show has not gone near john's mother and father though for the fear of highlighting it for future reference, so it would be a bit tacked on in the show now. The books have all sorts of references so it works in that format, i think anyway.
