Come on now! Watch them again and come back with a straight bat. 3 of those aren't even amongst my favourites but I admit they're far superior works. Tonight was great but only because it was a return to form from the previous 6 debacles.
I just offered to agree to disagree, but Imma just bring in the professionals

Back on topic, funny how the Others/White Walkers were all wearing black, could have implications :coffee:

Blackwater.
And now his watch has ended.
Rains of Castamere.
You Win or You Die.
Valar Morghulis.
The Climb.
Baelor.
I could name another 4 but they're debatable .

Blackwater yes, Rains of Castamere perhaps (they lose points there because all they had to do was film what Martin wrote), not sure about the rest though of course it should also be said that this episode stuck out far more because the rest of the season has been so very meh.

I'll pull one out that's not on that list which is far superior, 'The Watchers on The wall' directed by Neil Marshall ( Blackwater). Great episode tonight and as I say a return to form but lets not go mad here.

Good episode. I think I'm alone in finding the big battles or combat scenes to be the most boring aspect of the show though, I don't dislike them but generally I find the politics and other aspects of the show more interesting.

TBH I thought that episode was terrible, it was just forty-odd minutes of blokes wafting swords at each other whilst various cliches roamed about the set. Blackwater was miles better than it, as was last nights; you at least got a sense of the utter horror of what it was being portrayed (which is usually when GOT is at its best, be it the Red Wedding, or Oberyn getting his head smashed in, or even something like Ned Stark's men getting butchered in season one).
