not having it at all !! Another episode full of crap! 50 minute dinner scene with the Boltons ffs Honest I'm bored , I could have edited that entire episode down to 5 minutes .
Jesus, why don't you go watch a montage of Michael Bay's greatest hits?
There's nothing wrong with dialogue-driven scenes. The story is one of the most finely interleaved on TV, and so lots of time will naturally be spent moving it forwards and setting up future events. That episode still had its moments of action, but a fight scene doesn't do much for the story.
They've set up a major turn of events for Daenarys, John Snow has set his stall out with the Wildlings and is off to recruit them, Jorah's contracted greyscale, Sansa has encountered Theon. Alongside a scene with the dragons brutally killing someone and the terrifyingly feral greyscale people attacking Tyrion and Jorah.
It wasn't the best episode of the season, but as always, everyone in the episode has had their story moved forward and there were still some tense action scenes. What on earth do you expect? I've not stopped being entertained since season 1, so if you liked the series back then, I can't fathom why you don't now.
Jesus, even @Bryan's posts are more worthwhile than that.
thats been its saving grace for me too, like the writers have realised they have an interesting character who a lot of fans are rooting for, maybe that was their plan all along, I'm not too sure though after his battle at the wall was marginalised, I do enjoy the boltons as wellHaha. Brilliant.
Stannis has been the best thing about this season so far, in my opinion. Glad he's finally getting the screen time he deserves.
Absolutely loved Stannis having a little grammar pedantry. He's the sort of King who would post in the "minor things that make you fume" thread.Haha. Brilliant.

Mind you, he would burn @chicoazul at the stake for some of those match reviews too.
This isn't a spoiler just speculation; I reckon they're making him a fan favorite because they're planning on killing him off later this seasonthats been its saving grace for me too, like the writers have realised they have an interesting character who a lot of fans are rooting for, maybe that was their plan all along, I'm not too sure though after his battle at the wall was marginalised, I do enjoy the boltons as well
