Game Of Thrones: Season 8

Let's put it this way mate. Just over a year ago I'd of recommended that you watch this season and told you that the show was one of the greatest things ever in tv history. After this season I'd advise you to just leave it. Its been the biggest let down ever. The writing standards have fallen through the floor. It's the same show as the earlier seasons in name only. The characters were caricatures of themselves this season. It's a parody of itself and a poor one.

Be interesting to see if the books will actually get finished and if they are any good, he was hardly a successful author before and doesn't have the scope of other fantasy authors such as Jordan and sanderson.. Seemed like he wrote a good world and characters with no idea how to finish it....

I’m under the impression that he has no motivation anymore. He GOT loaded after GOT became successful. I think he makes 20 mil per season or something stupid

GOT was always about being a surprise and keeping you on your toes. I think it did that and even though it isnt maybe the ending we all wanted or thought of it was a bit of a surprise.
