we don't and never have had a creative CAM, Barkley is quality but is more of an all round CM for me, until we get that player in our forward will always struggle to get chances.

Chelsea have Oscar/Hazard
Arsenal have Ozil/Carzola
Utd- Rooney/Mata
RS- Suarez/coutinho

just examples

good examples mate. And agree with your analysis 100%. Suarez is just a genius of a football player isn't he. Creator and a finisher. Most valuable player in the PL for me.

I think the harshest reality is that Rodgers out thought RM, Everton have no pace, simple, play deep and hit them on the break.

That was not rocket science. however, neither was sitting deep and riding out the storm, but we did neither and got punished. The ****e did exactly the same against the spuds and see the result and yet they cannot break down teams that sit deep.

Yes, we had plenty of injuries but the tactics more than the injuries was our downfall and hopefully the lesson was learned onwards and upwards, Ken****e may release the purse strings a little as RM pens his eyes to the fact we are woefully short of squad players and we can now concentrate on a cheeky wembley trip rather than a CL push that can only embarrass us as we are not ready for it yet, and won't be ready until we have a huge cash injection into the squad and buy a top striker as all the teams above us have.

Every year we get to this point of the season and we simply loose it Last season was the same as soon as January came we played **** and injuries came about and then we didn't spend. We need to do business in January look what happened in 2012 when we spent on Gibson jelavic and Pienaar we played great and got most points

Pienaar has rarely shown up in a big game ever. He's the exact type of player that belongs at our club though - not elite, but not bang average. "Good".

3/10 is generous for tonight for him. Baines was so atrocious it was barely believable.

Really? Baines was one of our better players, I thought. He like EVERYONE, bar Mirallas, was poor on the ball, gave it away too much but he kept going all night and didn't do anything awful defensively, unlike the rest of the defence.
