I haven't seen Lahiff in the flesh yet.

This will be an interesting midfield battle.

Hes been a late break out to be honest, Dessie has being trying different combinations in there since the spring. Tom has been in the panel during that time but has only really gotten the nod recently. He is still finding his feet at this level, he looked a bit shakey in the early stages last week and against Galway but impressively grew into the game and showed more authority as it went on. He does the simple things very well in transition and keeps it all ticking over, is playing more of an anchor to Fenton, yet he has some decent vision himself. Dessie had him at underage. He was one of the standout on a very good Judes team in the Dublin club Championship. Hes not the finished article and is growing at this level but looks like Dessie sees something in him, but hes still adjusting and finding his confidence, he was absolutely goosed after 60 mins last week but had a good game, even if we were never under threat.

If you are near Graigue I can understand the hatred!

A Dub in KK since Jan 1990 I am very familiar with Co Carlow and its people. Genuinely like them and the County.

A pity Carlow town hasn't more interesting historical buildings. The story of the " philanthropist " accidentally blowing up the historic castle is a case in point.

Id count the Foundry as a historical building. lol

Would probably favour waterford over Galway in tomorrow's draw, great to get over the line against Cork yesterday.

Great couple of goals from Kilkenny, especially Hogan, waterford gave limerick enough of it and showed that they can be got at, encouraging for the rest.

Another two games to look forward to ext weekend.

Serious result on for Down 1-9 to 4 points up on Cavan.

@Earwigjoe will be a happy man!

And Cavan win by a point

unreal collapse by Down in the 2nd half, we were flying in the 1st half and shouldve been further ahead. Cavan got serious momentum and we just wilted. really disappointing day.

Down’s second half was like watching Everton over the last few years
All @Neiler s fault, we were flying 1st half till he opened his mouth.
