Two members of the Cork team that Derry beat in that 1993 all Ireland final are also deceased. John Kerins the goalkeeper, and Mick McCarthy who was the captain.Colm McGurk RIP. I was there in 93 when they broke our hearts in the Semi Final and went on to win the Sam.

Congrats to Kerry. Incredible and so warming to see Pat Spillane in tears talking about his Dad. He had me in tears watching this.. Brought so many memories about my own Cavan Dad and how proud he was of that county. GAA is wonderful in terms of uniting people despite our differences.Stuck 50 brick on G G G GALWAY
