Used the first wildcard this week, decided to get in some season keepers, Salah, Raya, Palmer, Diaz, Haaland - give or take fixtures, injuries and depending on value they will be mainstays. Probably be the last week i could afford them all without compromises elsewhere, the way prices are going.

Backing, Mintah, ESR and Pedro to be good scoring enablers.

While Robertson will hold for good fixtures and at some stage ill flip to Arsenal at a nice run, budget full backs - see value in Mazraoui and Robinson, wanted Davies but was ..1 short so have Myko - we have a good run after today and with Branthwaite to come back we will keep clean sheets at some stage. Greaves is in there as Ipswich have good fixtures and think they will be better then the 4.0's at Southampton. Chiwome - bench fodder.

Decision i wrestled with was Saka + Havertz for Salah - was originally going to go witht the two Arsenal lads but Odegarrds injury will probably see Havertz drop back and they have a couple of tough fixtures - ill have a look again in a few weeks and if Salah does well hes likely to increase. At that stage Palmers fixtures could turn.

The other decision was Robertson + Raya VS TAA and a 4.5 keeper. Went for the former - have a feeling the BP changes suits a sweeper keeper this year and its a year for premium keepers in my opinion. Not convinced a 4.5 mill keeper and TAA cover the spread of Raya and Robertson. While TAA i dont think will be that far ahead of Robinson so two better then the one and a compromise is the call i made.

Think hes injured mate or given some extra time to recover from the Euros, its why so many are jumping on Lewis.
I read that Kyle Walker was having problems on the "marital front", so maybe his head isn't at the races so to speak. Anyway, I went and joined the crowd and swapped him out for Rico Lewis

Yeah. Not this week but the week after. Instead of the Liverpool defense switch. I'll swap Madueke for Wissa if he is declared fit. Save the extra money. And then the next week take out Mateta for Havertz.

Can you do it with Mbuneo mate, think I’d pick him out of two.

Keeping an eye on Havertz myself, would have brought him in this week if Odengarrd hadn’t got injured, worry he could drop back, be keeping an eye.

Ideally if like Saka and Harvetz for GW 6, interesting to see what they do with Sterling as well.

Yeah did change my mind once I said it. I'm really hunting for price risers and saving squad budgets this year, it's working so far. Really want Havertz from gw 6 so I'll see what I'll come up with. Cheers for the advise.

Got rid of Fernandes and Garnacho, goal and assist between them today. Brought in Diaz and Mbuemo, who did nada.

Think both are good long term picks though mate, never try to read to much into the week after an International break, they tend to be freak results and low scores.

I brought in Palmer, Salah and Diaz and all three tanked - still think they are sound long term picks.

You’ve a strong squad mate, you could downgrade one of your defensive options and comfortably afford Havertz and keep TAA, even upgrade the midfield.

Someone like Mazouri is 4.5 mill and in the top scoring defenders in the game so far. Something like that frees up a lot of funds and options.

My own personal style is I like to have cheapest possible playing bench meaning I can spread the majority of funds on the 11 on the pitch.
