Something has to give. Either new investment from somewhere so we can operate in the manner of ordinary clubs around us, or the club slowly unravels. At this point it looks like the latter strategy has been adopted. IMO, a rabbit from a hat will be pulled at some stage soon. It has to be. But the longer this goes on without releasing a statement the greater is the tendency for the vacuum of info to be filled by rumour - and poor PR on the back of that.

It's about the most amateurish way you could run a club. I dont think any of us can really believe how this situation has been allowed to go on without it being explained. I was astounded when I heard that reporter on Radio Merseyside last night say that the club - when asked by them about administration - simply left the question hanging in the air instead of belting it unequivocally out the park. "It's unfair" to ask the question...and "we dont think there's any basis to it" was the only response!!! I mean, if that's from Ian Ross or the club secretary (which you'd expect a radio station to get a quote off rather than Fred the Doorman), then that's frightening.

Journalists try and make stories all the time.

Did you see the S*n's comment supposedly from Bily the other day?

A blatant fabrication. Nothing new from them.

It's easy to deal with a question:

Q. are you going into administration?

A. Of course not. That is simply not true.

Maybe the spokesmen thought it was unfair he was being asked the question without him being able to be prepared for the question...

* Davek in "over reading" comments to fit his agenda shocker *

Prepare for a yes or no answer?

Contact Peter McDowell of Radio Merseyside, he asked them the questions. Nothing to do with me or my *agenda*. Just passing on the info.

Know what EFC are like with this sort of thing. They like to know in advance any questions... So I see know where this has come from.

Mainly because it might have been an off the record chat, then McDowell tried to ask questions to put on the record...

Well Davek, administration isn't happening this or next season. If it were I'd say so. But its not.

Kenwright's times coming to an end though. He can't afford not to sell his stake now. My view of things.

I'm not saying administration is on it's way. My suspicion is that the club owners dont want to get into this debate because we're financially stretched and not capable of continuing along even a sell to buy trajectory. Neither in danger of going bust or in danger of funding the manager.

Well they can play that game for a short period I suppose, but it wont hold the line under increasing pressure and frustration.

As said, I think a rabbit will be pulled from a hat. That's the only way it wont end in tears.
