As for breakfast : coco pops or weetabix mostly.
I'm not one for eating a proper cooked breakfast for breakfast ie when i get up.
But i will have one later during the day. Being vegetarian my choice is limited but its possible to recreate most of the goodness. Veg sausage and bacon, saute potatoes, hash browns and beans is plenty good enough for me.
With Sainsburies own brand tomato sauce.

Have no fears Dennis, it is me who is on a constant diet going no where fast. If life was good I'd have a fry up every morning with lashing of the old brown stuff on my sausages, a runny egg, bacon toms and mushies with a thick slice of fried bread but alas no, the medical bastards, for that is what they are, have long since stopped my tap and I have but taste filled memories and still can't lose weight.

the main constituent of black pudding is pigs blood.

the dish itself is not confined to britain, it has roots in spanish cuisine where chili and spices are added. In britain, often what would be considered a scotish twist is observed whereby oats and grain are added to the mix to be cooked in the intestinal skins.
