So lads, first time in how long that we've done the double over so many teams: Fulham, Villa, Swansea, Barcodes, Hammers... Who else?

Another boss away day at the cottage. I'm really sorry to see them relegated. But I have to say, we could have made that a lot more comfortable than it was. That said, away against a team battling for their lives is a lot tougher than playing midtable guff.

Watched MOTD and boy did we ride our luck especially in the first half. All credit to Howard in that half and the 2nd. At the end of the day we put our chances away, Fulham did not.

Nether mind how we did it 3 points count that is all that matters.

Fulham only had two chances in the first half. In that half we were poor, they were marginally better. In the second half there was only ever going to be one winner.

PS - never rely on the MOTD highlights to give a proper reflection of a game eg they omitted Naisy hitting the post from 25 yards and a host of other Everton attacks (although they did cover some of these in the after-match analysis).

That wasn't a true reflection of the game mate; Howard made 2 good saves (well the holtby one was pretty standard). The first half was a poor performance, but a lot of credit had to go to Fulham because they did not let us settle on the ball. Our first goal was a blessing as it opened the game up, from the point there was only one winner.

I must admit, I went into pre Martinez mode when they scored and though that we had blown it and our chances. But credit to the players, they found space and should have scored a few more
