David Moyes is considering a move for Portsmouth's on-loan striker Frederic Piquionne after confirming he wants Jo out of Goodison Park.
Piquionne is one of several Portsmouth players with their futures in doubt and his representatives have contacted Everton to see if they are keen.

Most wanted: Frederic Piquionne

Everton are open to a loan deal if his current agreement between Lyon and Portsmouth collapses, while Blackburn, Liverpool and Aston Villa are also interested.
Moyes, meanwhile, is exploring ways of curtailing Jo's season-long loan from Manchester City. The Brazilian striker has been suspended by Everton after going AWOL over Christmas.
Asked if an apology would help, Moyes said 'No' and added: 'I spoke to him on Thursday, so he is aware of exactly where he stands.

Funny part about the Jo situation at the bottom.

Piquionne? Aint seen enough to say "he's quality" really.

Didn't he score a cracker against the [Poor language removed], he also appeared to fall over at frequent intervals, as has been said 'just like Jo' God bless his packed bags

Generally a yard offside isn't it?

On Piquionne, he was hardly prolific in France and I've not seen anything in the Premiership to suggest he's anything other than a willing runner. Not for me.

Agreed, scored a stunning goal against the [Poor language removed] but that came after missing chances week in week out. No for me aswell, there are better strikers out there to be taken on loan

Ive watched him a bit hes a very decent workhorse who should score more with the chances he makes and others create for him. Hes the type of player who can wear down a defence but isnt prolific at finishing.

*If its in the Daily Mail its very untrue!

Wouldn't mind at the moment. A new venue could bring him and us some vigor.

I still would like to see Vaughan get more quality time. Two goals in two games isn't anything to sneeze at.
