Thanks Mc Bain for the table. You have McNeil at 14.5 million rather than the usual figure of 20.00 million.

If that's true then it makes it a bit more reasonable a transfer.

The thing that annoys me is when the ball gets played out to our wide players and instead of having a go
the pass the ball backwards. I was brought up on Morrissey and Peter Thompson at LFC and they always
tried to make things happen. Mc Neil is slow, one-footed but has a decent centre if given time and a strong shot.
Still not worth 14.5 million.

Where's the £32.5 figure for Gordon come from? Take that out and we've spent circa £60m on our current forward line.

As we know throwing cash around is not a guarantee, but that is not great. Have to remember we've just lost Sigurdsson and Tosun - huge investment(s) gone for little return. Which arguably makes it worse.

We definitely need at least one attacking player in. I’d feel more comfortable in second half of the season. We need goals.

We gained an excellent point last night. The work Lampard is doing is there for anyone to see. He's made us a team that's hard to beat. That is massive improvement on last season. Even in games we're losing and playing badly we aren't getting annihilated like we regularly did last season under the pig. We look like a team. A mediocre one maybe but one that with a few shrewd buys could be a top half side. We're going in the right direction for the first time in years because this manager obviously has a clear plan on where he wants to go and how he's going to get there. That's enough for me right now.

The club wont spend big on forward players with our financial situation if they believe Lampard is going to persist with Alladyce ball for every away game.

They'll likely accept that and the hopes of PL survival until BMD is built.

One more time - transfermarkt price for frees and graduates. Not perfect but if you do the same for all teams then at least its consistent.

Iwobi isn't really a forward in our set up and Gordon is really worth about 5m. We have about 30m of attacking players and that's why we have one of the worst attacks in the league. Forest spent similar on just that lad from Wolves.

What a stupid list. Totally nonsensical for the purposes we are discussing. All it tells you is the bloat amount for players who got transferred or were subject to transfer speculation.
