Nah. The board knows it's game over. Inaction after this will, sadly, incite violence among the less balanced element in our fanbase. It becomes a matter of personal safety for people then. Sad but true.
Sacking lampard now will raise the question why they did not do it before the world cup. It will show weakness and incompetence and those board members have big egos.

Technically he didn't take them down, as he was surprisingly sacked before the end of the season. So we can't know whether they still would have gone down, although in all likelihood they would have still gone down.
That roll of the dice to sack him backfired and in all probability sealed their fate! Eddie Howe however, DID take Bournemouth down and now look at him. Those turning their noses up at Dyche would no doubt have turned their noses up at Howe as well.

It’s a good point, every blue to a man know all of the above is true already.

Weak

Incompetent

Useless

No plan

Horrific, forget Lampard, he will probably go, we will probably get Dyche in to rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic again, but the rot is deeper and we are in serious danger of going down, the culmination of years of total negligence & mismanagement from the top down. A well-run club would have a forward on the 1st of Jan. Acceptance of dross and defeat from the top down and stripping the squad of goals and creativity. Thinking we aren't a dysfunctional football team that can change it to 433 again after nicking a miracle point at City with five at the back! For the avoidance of doubt we are not good enough to play progressive football!!!! Who just pass it around in an open style against much better teams than us! I fear we are in deep decline. We desperately need change, the fans deserve better!
