If we managed that, it would be a miracle. But shows if we can at least get ourselves to a respectable position. Something to build on for next season. I feel Richarlison and DCL are going this summer. Maybe we can at least help them to reconsider.

My worry too. Richarlison is nailed on to to replace mbappe at PSG and arsenal are desperate for a forward. Trying to replace both of them is going to be a huge ask.

I think West Ham fans hate him for being a chelsea legend. I don’t think he’d want to go back to Chelsea after he was sacked last time, but there again I didn’t think Carlo would go back to Real after they sacked him.

Just messing bout West Ham - but logic being that he didn't go back to West Ham during his playing days, doesn't mean he'll go back to Chelsea anytime soon.
He's at a different stage of his career/life, making a name for himself again - on his own terms.
Everton provides an opportunity very different from what Chelsea does and he's smart enough to know what that difference is.

He is our manager now for the next 2 1/2 seasons.

I mean, I feel confident enough already he will do enough to be here til end of next season at least but hasnt the last 10yrs taught you not to expect so much so soon?

Going on the Everton we are used to, the more likely outcome would be majority poor transfers in the summer. Bad first half of the season and then talk of him not being good enough.

I think between expecting a super negative, or average or super positive outcome with Everton you'd rule out the positive end of the chart and be delighted if it ever actually happens.

Just a bit sick of the cycle of wild over the top positivity to depressing negativity

Mate he talks about us a lot. Constantly reminds everyone we where the best team he played for. People might not like him and thats fine but he's never shy in telling people about his affection for us.
