I just buzz off the Ukrainian Chernobyl league tweets every time he plays. Good for a chuckle

When you think about it does make some sense if they were going to bin Potter in the summer anyway. If they kept him on they wouldn’t be able to openly be courting a replacement. So once they decided to tin him there are three options.

1) Rush into a new permanent manager.
2) Keep on Bruno as interim who has no managerial experience and was part of the managerial team that has just failed.
3) Get in someone that is willing to do the job for the rest of the season that has some experience.

Given they aren’t going to get Europe (CL or EL anyway) through the league and they almost certainly won’t win the Champions League option 3 actually seems like the most sensible.

Anyway, have no ill feeling towards Lampard, always seemed like a nice guy. Just not a very good manager. Hope he does well and helps us out along the way.

Does the report not say 30mil was rejected. If he went for 80 mil i would suggest whoever put in the 30mil bid was deluded.

Pretty they wouldn't have rejected Chelsea. And we would've been paying installments for 20 years
