This crap of giving coaching roles to players just because they're an ex-blue really has to stop anyways...... No wonder we've stopped producing young talent... Everton in the Community is great, but when it comes to football matters, there's no room for charity or sentiment, at every level (particularly the youth academy) we should be hiring the best available coaches from around the world

Why does everything that happens in these type of incident have to result in people getting the sack? Yes he’s done wrong but what is sacking him going to achieve in reality?

Because he represents the club and now Everton have their name plastered in the papers next to the picture of a wife beater

It's the same reason literally any business will sack you for doing something wrong while representing them for example while wearing a uniform

This'crap' happens at the majority of clubs. Lundberg is at Arsenal,Brian Kidd is at City, Carrick and Solkjaer are at ManU, Beardsley WAS at Newcastle, and that's just from memory, there are many more. You won't find many League clubs that haven't got at least one ex player on the pay roll. Its what happens in football. Its because an ex player is likely to know the workings of a club better than most. According to Lukaku and DCL Ferguson has been a great help to them. And from where have you created this myth that we've stopped producing young talent? At most international age groups we have excellent representation.

There’s actually nothing in the report to say he has beaten her, it mentions messages sent via WhatsApp. Regardless it just seems to be the go to answer of sack him, should we have sacked Pickford when he was actually scrapping in a drunken rage in Newcastle or Sunderland wherever he was?

Culture of a club needs to be from top to bottom, full of quality people throughout
