Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

You may need something stronger than a cuppa mate lol
When it first came out it just seemed like a lad talking about a football manager game. After being disappointed it wasn’t actually Dunc going into management I swerved and that was that. Just curious to why it’s consistently going. It’s in my backlog now.

It’s a secret drug dealing thread where we talk in code ‘Danny Rowe = Speed’ , ‘forest green = hash’ and ‘UTFC = Inject me with bleach and smell my hoop’

Ipswich Town vs AFC Fylde
26th September 2028

=ipswich result.webp

After the good result over Preston North End it was a midweek trip to Portman Road. The rain poured down and the match remained at 0-0 in the first half, Fylde had a chance at the end of the first half to change the scoreline. Ryan Scott played a nice ball into the box for Bytheway to chase beating the full back and forcing a tipped save from the keeper. Four minutes into the second half, Dennis Plummer chased the long ball forward battling with Nathan Smith but Smith done well to get his body in front and Plummer and pushed him to the ground. The referee showed Plummer his second yellow card reducing Ipswich to ten men. Fylde did little to trouble the goalkeeper and Ferguson pushed his men forward towards the end of the match but they could not do enough to take all three points.

=Coventry result.webp

League leaders Coventry were looking to establish their position at the top with three points away to newcomers Fylde. Coventry were the strong favourites and almost took the lead on 11 minutes when Lathom headed over the bar from the corner. Fylde kept the ball well and had the majority of the possession in the first half, with a few minutes to go until the break, Scott played it to Wisdom before making a run into the box, Scott asked for the ball back and passed to Sargent on the outside of the box who took a touch and hit a swerving powerful shot that fizzed past the keeper! Fylde with the lead! Fylde with the goal on the stroke of half-time. The second half started with the momentum with Fylde, Wisdom whipped in the free-kick into the box, O'Neill got to the back post and volleyed past the keeper! Fylde with the second! Coventry fell apart! Five minutes later Wisdom played it to Scott who tried his luck outside the box, with a cool effort that nestled into the bottom corner! The midfielder held his arms above his head with a modesy celebration. Fylde in dreamland with a 3-0 lead. Ryan Scott was having a fantastic match, he was present in defence and attack playing the box to box role to perfection. Coventry tested the Fylde defence but Feeney was there to win the headers with his dominating presence. The match ended and it was a magnificent victory for The Coasters! They have beaten the league leaders!

DF: I probably would have took a draw before this one but we played to our tactics brilliantly and we scored three and kept a clean sheet. Every single player was fantastic, to take a draw away at Ipswich and then dominate Coventry a few days later, it is just astonishing and we are fulfilling our dream. This team has so much belief and you only have to look at what they have achieved in a short space of time. This league is our biggest challenge yet and there are no expectations, we just have to fight.

AFC Fylde vs Salford City
Checkatrade Trophy
3rd October 2028

=salford result.webp

Fylde made a few changes, David Chester was given a start at left back with Stockbridge on the other side. Sam Allaway and Danny Smith were playing as the wingers. The shock came on ten minutes when Jack Bradbrook curled in a free-kick swerving past Foster. Sargent tried a delightfully dipping shot that caught the keeper off his line but he managed to tip it over on 38 minutes. Allaway was hauled off on 55 minutes with a poor performance and Euan Henderson came on. Fylde played with more flair in the second half but the chances came to nothing, there should be enough quality on the field for them to see off Salford. It was a poor showing from Fylde who are defeated by League Two Salford and it looks like they could be on their way out of the Checkatrade Trophy if they don't get a win against Wrexham.
DF: I'm fully responsible for this result, we were poor tonight and I tried to change the team a little bit and it didn't work how I wanted it to. There's nothing more to say on the matter, we need a result against Wrexham to have any chance of progression.

Big Dunc managed Fylde:). A fan died at Gateshead after eating faecal matter :( He got sacked after getting promoted.:( Joey Barton took charge  . Big Dunc managed Bolton . Big Dunc quit cos Bolton is bad lol. Big Dunc followed his heart and returned to Fylde.:bye: Big Dunc only then got back to back promotions to league one!:pint2:@maccavennie shagged a womble:yellow:
Have you all had your memories wiped about Hairless Harry Kewell's reign of terror?

I always get mixed up, is it Harry Kewell or Huckerby who stack shelves at the local supermarket?
I think they had a fight over the young lady stacking the shelves at Fylde Minimarket. A dark day in the history of the club. Meanwhile Dirty Danny Rowe absconded with the young lady to the back storeroom. It was downhill for all of them since that fateful day.

Can't beat a good supermarket sweep in the back storeroom!

Can't beat a good supermarket sweep in the back storeroom!
Talking about middle aged men with lots of cosmetic surgery and fake tans, rumour has it that James Beattie took his England shell suit off after the Ipswich game so he could kit up because he was so disgusted with the strikers. Ran into the toilet where big Dunc was having a crafty dump whilst reading the Pigeon Times. Beatsy trips over and launches at the pantless Scot. Just as the Fyldean Argos photojournalist turns up and snaps them in a compromising but wholly explainable situation. Anyway, that's why there was no presser today prior to the next match.

It's a big scandal, apparently this excuse has come up before with Beats as David Moyes, Tony Pullis and Sven Goran Eriksson can testify too. It's a real problem with the lad.
