Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

exodus.webp

AFC Fylde fans have been protesting outside the stadium in the wake of the news the Scot has been sacked as manager of the club. Fans were in full support of Ferguson and believed he would progress further with the club. Achieving promotion to League Two was no easy feat and it is something Ferguson can take forward with him in his search for his next club. Our reporters have not spoken to Ferguson since his dismissal. However we caught up with Darren Huckerby leaving the training ground.

DH: Ferguson won't back down after this. He had a feeling this was coming and was totally bewildered by it. This is the problem with football chairmen, they think they know what's best in the sense from a footballing perspective but often get it wrong. It won't deter Dunc, he still has a career in this game.

Eff off Fylde, I've just washed off my transferable tattoo, you mean nothing to me now. House up for sale, bought a caravan and I'm ready to travel to wherever Big Dunc goes.

Hopefully though it won't be too far from my tyre garage like coz I gotta pay dem billzzzzzzz
Meet us up at the town limits. Full on Mad Max convey off to Barry on Fury Road!

What time we all setting off?

I've left a note for the kids saying daddy might not be home again. I know 7 of the 9 kids aren't mine but that's not the point is it.
It's a bit of a scene at the moment. We're going to have a huge party, get drunk, fight, make love to each other, and then roll out at dawn, leaving Fylde a scene of post-apocalyptic devastation. At the minute the little ones are constructing a giant Harry Kewell effigy and we're going to burn it at midnight.

Essentially it's going to be a repeat of the promotion to the league without having to look sheepish the next day because we will be miles away from the carnage.
