DF: We know this is going to be hard for us as we have been here before. I have sat down with each player and told them what I expect from them this season and I have also had a chat with a few players who will no longer be with us.
SS: Can you confirm who will be let go?
DF: Not yet but an announcement will be made.
SS: Last time in League Two you were by the club after struggling to find form, what must change this time around?
DF: I need backing in the transfer market. There are players I want to bring to this club but they cost money. We don't have that money so I am looking at loan deals for players.
SS: This is how yours and the chairman's relationship broke down last time, what are your views on that?
DF: We have a great relationship now but David is not a footballing person, we both want the best for Fylde but our strategies on getting there can be different.
