HENDERSON BUMS TRANMERE INTO SUBMISSION AND LEAVES THEM TO PICK UP THE BILL!!!!

Euan Henderson gave every reason as to why he should be the footballer of the year this season with an incredible performance against Tranmere. His first goal came on 12 minutes on his right foot after cutting in from the left and driving the ball low. The next three goals bizarrely all came from the penalty spot after Henderson gave the Tranmere defence a torrid time. Henderson was brought down on three occasions and scored all three penalties as cool as you like and put Fylde 4-0 up after 33 minutes. The second half was all about Tranmere and Fylde defended their lead well. Burgess broke the deadlock when a ball was lofted over the top and he only had the keeper to beat. There was suspicions of offside but replays confirm he was on. Fylde had a three goal cushion to protect and defended well and saw the game out. Henderson almost got his fifth of the game but he put his shot wide. Fylde now back within play-off contention and it all goes down to the final game against FC Halifax.

FERGUSON: THERE IS NO PRESSURE

Duncan Ferguson stated in his pre match press conference that the players are calm and spirits are high before kick off. "There's a relaxed atmosphere around the place and this is no different to any other game. We go out, we do our job, we perform well and then we wait. A lot of this is out of our hands, we just need to play our part and do that in the manner that has brought us a lot of success over the years."
