Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

it appears Fylde will struggle to do business in this transfer window until the squad has been relieved of a few of the higher earners.

Jim Kellerman has been made available by manager Duncan Ferguson who reportedly earns £1900 per week at Fylde. The midfielder made four appearances for Fylde last season.

Oliver Sarkic is rumoured to be unhappy at the club after they failed to gain promotion back to League Two. The 26 year old striker managed 5 goals in 33 appearances last season and is the highest earner at the club. Rumours have circled around for a while stating the player has been unhappy for a while and does not see his future at Fylde.

AAttacking midfielder Richie Ginnelly has agreed a one year loan extension at the club. Nottingham Forest were more than happy for the player to continue his development with Fylde.

MMidfielder Ashley Hammond has also extended his loan spell from Bolton for another season. ​

Duncan Ferguson has declared new 18 year old signing Mick Wisdom a very talented defensive midfielder. Wisdom was released by Manchester United and Ferguson acted quickly to sign the midfielder on a one year deal.

DF: He will give us steel in the centre of the park. The coaches at United speak very highly of him, his attitude and work rate and his ability to play football. He is determined to make it in the game and cannot wait to get started. ​

Amen to that Jimmy, 5 goals all season (4 of which were own goals in the same game) and he's got the cheek to says he's unhappy.

Well guess what Sarkic lad, your missus and your mum were both unhappy as well so I gave them a good old Fylde welcome.... Numerous times and now Mrs Sarkic is preggers its time for you to shove off because I ain't getting my fmsily allowance stopped again by your gold digging missus!

DANNY ROWE RETIRES

The Fylde legend has hung up his boots and drawn the curtains on a magnificent playing career.

DF: Danny is a legend and the impact he has had here over the last ten years is nothing short of spectacular. Players like Danny aren't made anymore, he would die for this club and gave his all for this club. He led Fylde forward from the Vanarama North up to League Two. He will be sorely missed as part of my playing staff and he was a role model to the younger members of the squad. Players like Danny don't come around often and to have worked with such a professional is what makes management all the worthwhile. I wish him well whatever he decides to do in the future.

There'll only ever be one Danny Boy Rowe.

He'd run through a brick wall for Fylde. You'll go down in history for your last gasp winner against Halifax all those years ago when we broke into the top 12 for the first time. Lovely memories from the now not so speedy frontman.
